Adult performer Sasha Grey is the latest to have a signature line from novelty maker Doc Johnson. The company has begun production of Sasha’s signature piece, “a lifelike replica of the star’s most prized possession,” according to a press release.
If it were me getting a lifelike replica of my most prized possession, I wouldn't have Doc Johnson make it. Mondaine, maybe. Or Shag.
"During our meetings, I was quite pleased and taken by the fact that Sasha didn’t just want a novelty line with her name on it," Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson's director of product development and licensing, told XFANZ. "She really wants to sit in on the process and share her ideas for where she would like to see this line go.
“Sasha Grey has been generating a lot of buzz since her adult film debut, and we’re looking forward to developing cutting-edge product for her growing fan base,” Braverman said.
Grey, who was recently cast as the lead in Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming film about a $10,000-per-night call girl, entered the adult industry two years ago. Since then, the 20-year-old Sacramento native has racked up numerous awards. She is currently promoting Digital Playground's Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge, in which she has a major presence although she is not a Digital Playground contract performer.
Grey joins adult industry personalities Jenna Jameson, Belladonna and Mr. Marcus as performers to have their own Doc Johnson novelty lines.
Mondaine hasn't returned my calls.
